Lily Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; through the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much amusing stuff in the Klamath Mountains, just mind-blowing. A tour to Bell Spring will fill your spirit with glorious feelings, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Wrights Ridge Trail. This lake is       so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Dewell Lake is in close proximity; on a good day you can take a hike along the Wrights Valley Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Klamath Mountains. Take a little spree to Alder Creek while you're here at Lily Lake; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Willits. This lake is so wonderful. What a place this is for outdoors people. There's whitewater on Black Butte River for all you adrenaline rush seekers,                  and Hammerhorn Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Eel River - Middle Fork, and going for a hike on the Haynes Delight Trail is always a great adventure. There are other locations here than Lily Lake, for example Grass Lake, and Lily Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Little Doe Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Lily Lake highs are mostly in the 90's, and the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 50's.
