A lake nearby is Dead Cow Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Eel River - Middle Fork. Throughout the days of summer here at Lily Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration of       the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; through the dark hours in the winter at Lily Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's.
