     Lexington Reservoir is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Santa Cruz Mountains. A scenic lake like Tisdale Reservoir right next door to Lexington Reservoir is a glorious spot to check out, and do have a look at Lexington Dam while you're here. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Lexington Reservoir. If you need a place to stay Toll House, a Larkspur Hotel is a nice choice, and a glorious close  
   by hotel is Garden Inn Hotel.
Lexington Reservoir is a rather wet place mostly with a large amount of rainfall; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 70's at Lexington Reservoir while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. For the period
 
               of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's with temperatures at Lexington Reservoir dipping down into the 40's during winter nights.
It's a pleasant idea to go to Aldercroft Creek, it's close to Lexington Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Summit Trail. This lake is so wonderful. No need to travel far to have a look at exciting stuff like Priest Rock. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lexington Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Saratoga Springs Campground. Saint Josephs Hill is easy to spot from Lexington Reservoir, and you'll find a beautiful lake called Howell Reservoir.
Since you're here at Lexington Reservoir why not stop at Dyer Canyon, and do take a hike on the Sequoia Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of San Lorenzo River, and you can stay the night at Sanborn Park. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lexington Reservoir. Don't miss out on a trip to Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail since you're here at Lexington Reservoir; the Rincon Fire Road Trail offers hiking at its best.
And if that's not sufficient there's a load more fun stuff to do in the Santa Cruz Mountains. A brilliant site for whitewater paddling right next door to Lexington Reservoir is San Lorenzo River, and Lexington Reservoir is a place with many visitors from San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara.
