Lakes are splendid; Stick Lake is a lake that's right next door to Leech Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Willits is a wonderful place to spend a night       or two, and why not camp at Boardman Ridge Campground since you're here at Leech Lake. Through the warmest time of the year at Leech Lake highs are regularly in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's with temperatures at Leech Lake dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Leech Lake is right by the Wrights Ridge Trail, and not far                  from Leech Lake you'll come across Grass Lake which is a striking lake. A pleasant visit to Bear Wallow is a perfect way to spend an afternoon, and a perfect location to camp here at Leech Lake is Eel River Campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Klamath Mountains. The Wrights Valley Trail offers hiking at its best, and here at Leech Lake you can distinguish Leech Lake Mountain. Leech Lake is located in the Klamath Mountains. An average amount of rainfall falls at Leech Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
