     There's just no way someone can get bored here at Laurel Lake. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. Skiing at Mammoth Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and you might also want to pay a visit to Hopkins Pass if you're here at Laurel Lake. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of San Joaquin
 
   River - South Fork, and if you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada is a wonderful choice. Laurel Lake is right by the Mammoth Rock Trail, and needless to say Laurel Creek is a delightful stream that is worth stopping at. Not much precipitation falls here at Laurel Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; June meanwhile is the driest month.

               came to camp Upper Vermillion Campground is a nice place to do that. Any time is a nice time at Laurel Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. The Sherwin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best, and there's whitewater on Mono Creek for all you adrenaline people. There's so much to do here at Laurel Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper McGee Creek Campground is a good spot for that; after a long day outdoors Mammoth Creek Inn is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two.
Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a great time. Looking for a wonderful journey? Devils Postpile National Monument is quite close to Laurel Lake, and Red and White Mountain is a peak you can spot from Laurel Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Grinnell Lake while you're here at Laurel Lake; it's nearby, and good skiing awaits you at June Mountain. All through the warm months highs here at Laurel Lake get into the 70's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's; night lows during the wintertime for Laurel Lake tend to be in the 20's.
