This lake is so wonderful. Visit Laurel Creek while you're here at Laurel Lake; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Sherwin Lakes Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit San Joaquin River - South Fork, and unsurprisingly, this is a glorious vicinity for people who like lakes, Grinnell Lake is a lake around here. Summertime highs at Laurel Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily       in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Laurel Lake tend to be in the 20's. Camping is available at Upper Vermillion Campground, and going for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mammoth Mountain since you're here; if you have time, Devils Postpile National Monument                  is a national park worth visiting.
