Do stop by The Lakes while you're in this part of California. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Santa Lucia Range. Going for a hike on the Marble Peak Trail is always a great adventure, and after a long day outdoors Valley Harvest Inn is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. This place, The Lakes, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. You can run the rapids of Arroyo Seco River close to The Lakes, and at The Lakes you always meet

| | someone from Salinas. Summer brings highs in the 70's to The Lakes; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at The Lakes dipping down into the 40's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Ventana Inn Big Sur is a great spot to get some rest; there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Horse Pasture Trail. You definitely should fancy the Santa Lucia Range. The | |

Dry Lake is a good lake in the neighborhood of The Lakes, and why not camp at Rocky Creek Campground if you're here at The Lakes. There's whitewater on Arroyo Seco River for all you thrill seekers, and there are pleasant places to
discover along the Hot Springs Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Miller's Lodge is a splendid site to camp, and why not stop at nearby Rocky Creek since you're here at The Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. The Lakes gets
a normal amount of annual precipitation; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. The Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Santa Lucia Range.
