It is very dried out here at Lake of the Woods commonly; the month with most of the rain is February, and July is when it's the driest. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sierra Madre. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Cold Springs Canyon; Lake of the Woods is right by the Snowy Creek Trail. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Sierra Madre will keep you coming back time and again. If       you came to camp Chuchupate Campground is a splendid place to do that. For the period of the summer at Lake of the Woods highs are usually in the 90's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Lake of the Woods. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Cuddy Creek from Lake of the Woods is trouble-free, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Henderson Trail. This                  is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. There's so much to do here at Lake of the Woods that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Of The woods Mobile Village is a glorious location for that; a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Sespe Creek. Take a hike on the Alder Creek Trail, and Ramada Inn - Lebec is a good spot to get some rest. Lake of the Woods is a beautiful lake in the Sierra Madre.
