A visit to Lake Wohlford is always a good idea. So many enjoyable things in the Santa Rosa Mountains, just tremendous. It's always pleasant to stop at Bottle Peak Spring, and there's glorious hiking along the Mission Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Santa Rosa Mountains. If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Escondido is a splendid choice, and Lake Wohlford is a fine place to camp, Lake wohlford Ranger Station is a fine place.

Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Wohlford; Gomez Trail is a glorious local trail, and of course, all our national parks are nice places to explore and Cabrillo National Monument is no exception. A splendid nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Express Inn - Escondido; there's whitewater on Escondido Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This lake is located in the wonderful Santa Rosa Mountains. You'll meet a lot of people from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos here; the summit of Bottle Peak can be made
out from Lake Wohlford. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lake Wohlford is delightful fun, Oakvale Park is a delightful local campground; get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Los Penasquitos Creek.
For the
period of the months of summer at Lake Wohlford highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights
at Lake Wohlford are in the 40's. So much fun stuff near Lake Wohlford, clearly inspiring. Near Lake Wohlford you locate a golf course called Woods Valley Golf Club; the Magee Trail offers hiking at its best.
