Lake Vera is always a pleasure to visit. Lake Vera is one of the lakes here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. So many fun things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just inspiring. Going for a hike on the Lafayette Ridge Trail is always a fine adventure, and camping at Snow Mountain Camp LTD is always a tremendous experience.
Having a great time at Lake Vera is painless. A nice place to camp here at Lake Vera is Aspen Group - Tahoe National Forest, and if you

| | come at the right time of year, Yuba River - South Fork offers some wonderful whitewater. All through the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Lake Vera. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Lake Vera. This lake is so wonderful. Nevada City Inn is a great spot to get some rest, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the South Yuba Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Vera a reasonably wet location;
the wettest month of the year is typically January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July. A journey to Meyers Ravine is always fun, and everybody loves Selby Flat.
And that's not all there is
to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. For you golfers we recommend close by Nevada County Country Club, and Lake Vera is not far at all from Truckee-Grass Valley. After a long day outdoors Piety Hill Cottages is a great place to spend a night or two; nearby you discover the Humbug Trail which is a great hiking trail.
