Lake Vera is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Lake Vera gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A quick visit to Brush Creek in the vicinity of Lake Vera is a wonderful idea; Meyers Ravine is another great location to visit close

| | by. That right there is a heap of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. There's whitewater on Yuba River - South Fork for all you adrenaline kick people, and Selby Flat is a wonderful spot here at Lake Vera.
And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do right next door to Lake Vera. If you came for an overnight stay Cold Creek - Tahoe National Forest is a fine spot to camp; you can have a delightful hiking adventure | |

along the Humbug Trail. Round Mountain can be spotted from Lake Vera, and if you need a site to stay Coleman Thos. A is a great choice. Lake Vera is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
National Hotel is a great place to get
some rest, and hiking along the South Yuba Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Lake Vera you'll perhaps meet some folks from Truckee-Grass Valley; next to Lake Vera you find a golf course called Nevada County
Country Club. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Vera, and the nighttime is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Vera dipping down into the
20's throughout winter nights.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Vera you can take a hike along the Lafayette Ridge Trail; camping is available at Aspen Group - Tahoe National Forest.
