Custom Search     Lake Thomas A Edison     My wife and I both enjoy backpacking in the Sierra, however my wife has a strong phobia of trail conditions that have steep fall-offs or cliffs. I was curious how the hike in to The Devil?s Bathtub from Lake Thomas Edison is. It clearly has a decent climb, is on well graded switchbacks, or will I need to blindfold my wife to make the trip? Any info would be much appreciated! Says Sheldon While edison lake is close to Mammoth and Devils Postpile as far as miles     are concerned, there is no road connecting the two. It is a full day of driving via the hwy 120 or 108 to get there. Says Junebug Beutiful beautiful lake in the Sierras.
