    If you are in Placer county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Tahoe. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake Tahoe you stumble on the General Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail; Antone Meadows is a stunning location any time of year. So many enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. If you need a location to stay Pepper Tree Inn is a tremendous choice, and glorious skiing awaits you at Northstar at Tahoe. This spot, the Northern  
   Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors fun things. The Pacific Crest Trail - section 14 is a delightful hiking trail in close proximity to Lake Tahoe; float down the rapids of Truckee River in a kayak.
From a precipitation point of view Lake Tahoe is a pretty common place; January is the wettest month with most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. Do visit Lake Tahoe Dam while you're here at Lake Tahoe; you can never get enough of the great skiing at
 
               Homewood. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Tahoe. Nothing beats kicking back at Atagam Beach, and a quick spree to Burton Creek is definitely a great idea.
A tremendous spot to camp here at Lake Tahoe is Bear Creek Campground, and a perfect nearby hotel is Resort At Squaw Creek. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Lake Tahoe. Going for a hike on the Granite Chief Trail is always a great adventure; Lake Tahoe is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Forest Boat Ramp and Camp is a brilliant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lake Tahoe, checking out Twin Crags is a must, and a lake close by is Dollar Reservoir.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Get covered with water paddling on Truckee River; you can hit the beach if you want, Patton Beach is practically right here. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
Throughout the summer months here at Lake Tahoe, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. During the winter highs are usually in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Lake Tahoe.
