This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Black Oak Spring will fill your spirit with pleasant feelings, and Deer Creek Inn is a delightful spot to get some rest. A perfect place like Carpenter Flat here at Lake Spaulding is too magnificent to miss; there are glorious sites to explore along the Eagle Bird Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Spaulding, and the night is a tad colder of course,       generally in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Spaulding are in the 20's. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is good on Yuba River - South Fork, and a lake nearby is Fuller Lake. This place, Lake Spaulding, it just has so much outdoors fun stuff. During your tour to Lake Spaulding you'll meet some people from                  Truckee-Grass Valley for sure, and Clyde Mountain is clearly visible from Lake Spaulding. Paddling on Fordyce Creek is so much fun, and going for a hike on the Round Lake Trail is always a delightful adventure. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
