Go to Lake Putt if you want to go to a nice lake. The skiing at Soda Springs is nice. The high level of rainfall makes Lake Putt a relatively wet spot; January is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is plentiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Whitewater paddling is perfect on American River - North Fork; Lake Putt is not the only site close by, Lake Putt is a close by lake.

The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you're visiting Lake Putt from Truckee-Grass Valley, you won't be the only one; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Italian Bar Trail.

in luck; Royal Gorge is in the neighborhood of Lake Putt, and Lake Putt is right by the Eagle Bird Trail. Sailor Point is a splendid place to stop at while in the area; Bear Valley is around here, and is a magnificent spot. This lake
is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Deer Creek Inn, and get soaked paddling on Yuba River - South Fork.
At Lake Putt all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the
40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Putt dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay North Fork Campground is a tremendous place to camp, and do take a hike on the Burnett Canyon Trail.
