Lake Piru is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Piru; Canton Canyon Trail is a magnificent local trail, and there are plenty of people from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura here at Lake Piru. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake Piru you find Blanchard Canyon which is a wonderful place to explore; get soaked paddling on Piru Creek. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Sierra

So much amusing stuff to do in the Sierra Madre, not sufficient time. Good hiking is available along the Devil Canyon Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Near Six Flags-Magic Mountain. paddling is great on Piru Creek, and Santa Felicia Dam is not far at all from Lake Piru.
High temperatures at Lake Piru through the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. For the period of
the winter highs are in the 40's; night lows in the 30's for Lake Piru. Go for a hike on the Pothole Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Piru has to offer, you can camp at Dominguez Campground. At Lake Piru
you don’t see much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly February, that's the one that rains the most while July is ordinarily the driest month.
