Logan Spring is an inspiring spot to go to while here, and you can go for a hike on the Elk Knob Trail. That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Klamath Mountains has it all. Smokehouse Creek is a great location to take a look at, and Oak Flat Campground is a fine campground here. Lake Pillsbury is close to Scott Dam which is       a picturesque place positively worth stopping at, and going for a hike on the Crooked Tree Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Summertime highs at Lake Pillsbury regularly tend to be in the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with temperatures at Lake Pillsbury dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. There's whitewater on Eel River for all you thrill seekers; don't forget to explore                  Graveyard Point since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful close by hotel is Tallman Hotel, and don't leave Lake Pillsbury without first going for a hike along the Middle Creek Flat Trail. Lake Pillsbury is a quite wet place mostly with much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January while July is regularly the driest month. Be careful coming to the Klamath Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Stay the night at Pogie Point Campground; Little Squaw Valley is a good spot to check out. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.
