The yearly rain here at Lake Oliver is about average; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is mostly the driest month. Gerstle Cove is near Lake Oliver and is a brilliant spot to pop by; a quick visit to Marshall Creek is without doubt a magnificent idea. At Lake Oliver through the warm months highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's; night lows in the 30's for Lake Oliver. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Plantation Farm Camp is a magnificent spot to do that; Pygmy Forest is worth taking a look at. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful.

You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Coast Ranges. A great place to take a look at near Lake Oliver is Phillips Gulch. Dry warm beds await you at Sea Ranch Lodge, and on a splendid
day it's a nice idea to spend the day at Clam Beach. That right there is plenty of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Coast Ranges has it all. Lake Oliver is great enough to spend more than a day at, Moonrock Campground is a great local campground, and if you need a place to stay Village Inn And Restaurant is a wonderful choice.
