At Lake Newton you always meet someone from Napa. Lakes? Sure, Fawn Lake is close at hand. Here at Lake Newton you can distinguish Inspiration Point; hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail is magnificent fun. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Napa River; if you came for an overnight stay Bothe Napa Valley State Park is a tremendous place to camp. Lake Newton is a good location of normal rain;

A golf course right next door to Lake Newton is Aetna Springs Golf Course, and if you come at the right time of year, Putah Creek offers some perfect whitewater.
