Cleveland Boulder Oaks Eqst - Cleveland National Forest is a pleasant campground nearby, and a glorious close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express MIRA MESA-SAN DIEGO. Around Lake Miramar you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the       rain is January, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club, and since you're here, you could also stop by stunning Duck Pond. Lake Miramar in fact is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise. Los Penasquitos Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot near Lake Miramar, and Quality Suites I-15 Miramar is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful                  day you acquire a vista of Kearny Mesa from Lake Miramar, and a trip to Cabrillo National Monument is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Cypress Canyon is a great place to look at, and Hollis Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. You'll meet a lot of folks from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos here; Chicarita Creek is close to Lake Miramar and is always a diversion to go to. At Lake Miramar during the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
