The beauty of Lake Miramar attracts many people from all around. Around Lake Miramar you don’t get a lot of precipitation; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here; July is when it's the driest. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Escondido Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express San Diego. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. During the summer months here at Lake Miramar, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Lake Miramar are in the 40's. Lake Miramar. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Los Penasquitos Creek; there's some flowing water close by, Chicarita Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here.
Near Lake Miramar
you discover Cypress Canyon which is a delightful location to stop by, and if you're a golfer then a good close by course is Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club. If you need a spot to stay Quality Suites San Diego is a glorious choice.
There's so much to do here at Lake Miramar that you need to camp here for a while, Burnt Rancheria - Cleveland National Forest is a perfect place for that. Kearny Mesa is a peak you can see from Lake Miramar; if you have the time, Cabrillo National Monument is a national park worth a visit.
