There are some great whitewater spots on Yuba River, and if you need a site to stay Ultimate Enterprise is a good choice. Any time is a good time at Lake Mildred if you adore the outdoors. Some of the water nearby flows, like Big Valley Creek, and camping at Lake Mildred is magnificent fun, Thousand Trails is a magnificent local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.       This lake is so wonderful. Los Verjeles Dam is pretty and it's right next door to Lake Mildred, and a good nearby hotel is Feather Falls Casino and Lodge. If you came for an overnight stay Collins Lake Recreation Area is a great place to camp, and Smoky Ravine is a great spot to spend some time. Through the days of summer highs here at Lake Mildred reach the 90's, and the overnight is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter                  are in the 50's; overnight lows all through the winter for Lake Mildred tend to be in the 30's. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. All year is a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you adore the outdoors. You get a good vista of Flanly Peak from Lake Mildred, and there are plenty of people from Yuba City-Marysville here.
