Lake McKenzie is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Lake McKenzie is one of the lakes here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Lake McKenzie. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Lake McKenzie are in the 30's. Visit Aubry Creek since you're here at Lake McKenzie, and you can

| | run the rapids of San Lorenzo River. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of San Lorenzo River; going for a hike on the Sequoia Nature Trail is always a perfect adventure. And if that's not enough there's heaps more fun stuff to do in the Santa Cruz Mountains. cool stuff to do here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake McKenzie has to offer, you can camp at Sanborn Park, and Lake Ranch Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at. The
Rincon Fire Road Trail is a splendid hiking trail near Lake McKenzie, and if you crave a little side journey, try Congress Springs Canyon. Lake McKenzie gets very little rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the
most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. This site is unbeatable, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Lake McKenzie. There's so much to do here at Lake McKenzie that you need to camp here for
a while, Saratoga Springs Campground is a delightful site for that, and you obtain a magnificent panorama of The Peak from here. Any time is a perfect time at Lake McKenzie if you have a thing about the outdoors. Lake McKenzie
is not far at all from San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Deep Cliff Golf Course, and don't leave Lake McKenzie without first checking out Beatty Slide. This lake is so wonderful. If time
allows, Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is a national park worth going to, and The Inn At Saratoga is a delightful spot to get some rest.
