Lake Marion is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Sierra Nevada. All year is a great time in the Southern Sierra Nevada if you adore the outdoors. Don't leave Lake Marion without first paying a visit to Callioud Spring. There's so much to do here at Lake Marion that you need to camp here for a while, Evans Flat Campground is a glorious spot for that.

| | some folks from Bakersfield; good hiking is available along the Bull Run Cattle Drive. So much amusing stuff to do here at Lake Marion, too great to be true. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Marion has to offer, you can camp at Davis Campground, and swing by Coffee Creek it's a great spot to go to. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Marion.
Through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Lake Marion with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lake Marion temperatures
fall to the 20's. You'll find a delightful lake called Lake Engle near Lake Marion, and Basket Flat is a charming place any time of year. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too splendid to be true.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Hill House; going for a hike on the Virginia Trail is always a fine adventure.
Go for a hike on the Old Sled Trail; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling
on Kern River. Lake Marion is a location that is quite dried up usually; January is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is July.
