At Lake Huntington during the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are typically in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Lake Huntington are in the 40's. Lake Huntington is a location that is quite arid typically; the month with most of the rain is February while July is the month with the least amount of       precipitation. If you're looking for a beach next to Lake Huntington, we recommend Huntington City Beach; after a long day outdoors Best Western Regency Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two. C C Camperland is a great local campground. A round of golf at nearby Mesa Verde Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time, and if you came for an overnight stay Bolsa Chica State Beach is a tremendous place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Santa                  Monica Mountains National Recreation Area is a good place right next door to Lake Huntington, and Surfside Beach is a beach nearby that you can take a look at. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Huntington. A pretty lake like West Street Basin near Lake Huntington is a delightful place to take a look at, and folks from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana love to come here.
