Go to Lake Hinman if you want to go to a nice lake. You get a great vista of Veterans Peak from Lake Hinman; glide down the rapids of Napa River in a kayak. If you come at the right time of year, Putah Creek offers some great whitewater. At Lake Hinman during the summer months highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. Highs through the winter are typically in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Hinman.

Camping at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is always a fine experience, and the Yountville Hills makes the scenery here magnificent.
