Go to Lake Henshaw if you want to go to a nice lake. This spot, the Santa Rosa Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you came for an overnight stay La Jolla Band Of Indians is a delightful place to camp; while you're here you can take a hike along the Mission Trail. Be careful coming to Lake Henshaw, you might not ever wanna go home again. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Gomez Trail; hiking along the Aguanga Trail is great fun.

| | of charming Angel Mountain is available from Lake Henshaw, and Love Valley is a tremendous place here at Lake Henshaw. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Lake Henshaw, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Henshaw drop into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp | |

If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Santa Rosa Mountains. A quick trip to
West Fork San Luis Rey River near Lake Henshaw is a brilliant idea; after a long day outdoors Riviera Oaks Resort and Racquet Club is a nice site to spend a night or two. Lake Henshaw is located in the Santa Rosa Mountains. The annual
rain here at Lake Henshaw is about average; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
