Dry warm beds await you at Ambrose Bierce House; Walnut Flat is a great place here at Lake Henne. You can run the rapids of Putah Creek near Lake Henne, and a round of golf at nearby Aetna Springs Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. You get a great view of Howell Mountain from Lake Henne, and Calistoga Ranch is a good location to get some rest. Here at Lake Henne there are plenty of people from Napa, and Lake Henne is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Bothe Napa Valley State Park is a brilliant local campground. What a location this is for outdoors folks. | |

Lakes? Sure, Red Lake is in the vicinity, and camping at Ritchey Creek Campground is always a nice experience. While you're here at Lake Henne you can take a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail; a pleasant place for whitewater
paddling is Napa River. Summertime highs at Lake Henne generally tend to be in the 90's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Henne temperatures descend to the 20's.
