Camping at Lake Francis Resort is always a good experience, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Yuba City-Marysville here. Through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Lake Francis. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while Lake Francis nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are       in the 30's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Yuba River; a nice place to camp here at Lake Francis is Burnt Bridge Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a splendid little journey to Dobbins Creek, and if you need a location to stay Stagecoach Motel is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Yuba River - North Fork for all you thrill seekers; needless to say, A journey                  to Condemned Bar is always fun. So much amusing stuff right next door to Lake Francis, truly phenomenal. A lake nearby is Lake Mildred, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Francis; Humbug Trail is a magnificent local trail. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more enjoyable things to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Good hiking is available along the South Yuba Trail, and one of the major marks of the surroundings of Lake Francis is Red Bluff. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. New Bullards Bar Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GOLD MINERS INN-GRASS VALLEY.
