Lake Flint is frequently a quite dried up place; January is when you get the most rain here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Lake Flint that you need to camp here for a while, Camanche Recreation Co is a great place for that, and a nice close by hotel       is Days Inn Sutter Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Cosumnes River in a kayak; do stop at Lake Amador, it's a lovely lake. At Lake Flint through the summer highs are in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 50's; night lows at Lake Flint during the winter mostly fall into the 30's. Having a glorious time at Lake Flint is trouble-free. After a long day outdoors Best                  Western Amador Inn is a perfect site to spend a night or two.
