A visit to Lake Ellen is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Shady Oaks Country Inn is a great place to get some rest; while you're here and you like golf, you can go to Aetna Springs Golf Course. Going for a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; naturally, A spree to Mill Valley is always fun. Recreation Flat is a pleasant spot to check out, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Putah Creek.

Through the days of summer highs here at Lake Ellen reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are commonly in the 50's with temperatures at Lake Ellen
dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little journey to Crystal Dam while you're here at Lake Ellen, and a short visit to Linda Falls is always worthwhile. An average amount
of rainfall falls at Lake Ellen; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that rains the most, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
Howell Mountain is clearly visible from Lake Ellen.
