Custom Search     Lake Eleanor     I stopped by here because I noticed there was rock worth exploring for climbing, but when I approached the gate, it said the area was closed to the public. This seemed like a great place to visit, get some climbing in and then take a dip in the lake. If anyone has any further information about the closing, please post it. Says Brian Nearby Hidden Valley is a great site to go if you're at Lake Eleanor, and if you need a place to stay Hyatt Westlake Plaza     is a fine choice. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a horse ride at nearby White Cloud Ranch is always a fun thing to do.
