If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Lake Crowley. Getting to Crooked Creek from Lake Crowley is uncomplicated, and skiing at Mammoth Mountain is one of those things you just should do. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go home again. Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a perfect place to get some rest, and Lake Crowley is right by the Mammoth Rock Trail. At Lake Crowley you don’t see much precipitation;

Lake Crowley in fact is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Devils Postpile National Monument is a
delightful local destination here at Lake Crowley, and if you came to camp Aspen Park Group Campground is a tremendous spot to do that. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Lake Crowley typically
tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Crowley fall into the 20's.
