    If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Lake Crowley. Getting to Crooked Creek from Lake Crowley is uncomplicated, and skiing at Mammoth Mountain is one of those things you just should do. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go home again. Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a perfect place to get some rest, and Lake Crowley is right by the Mammoth Rock Trail. At Lake Crowley you don’t see much precipitation;  
   January is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the driest.
Dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Creek Inn; the Sherwin Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is heaps of amusing things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Why not explore Long Valley Dam since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Do set aside some time for Little Round Valley if you're here at Lake Crowley. There's so much to
 
               do here at Lake Crowley that you need to camp here for a while, Holiday Campground is a brilliant site for that.
Lake Crowley in fact is in the middle of a picturesque outdoors paradise. Devils Postpile National Monument is a delightful local destination here at Lake Crowley, and if you came to camp Aspen Park Group Campground is a tremendous spot to do that. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Summertime highs at Lake Crowley typically tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Lake Crowley fall into the 20's.
