     Dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Creek Inn, and a tour to Devils Postpile National Monument is recommended. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Holiday Campground is always a great experience, and do go to Davis Lake, it's a striking lake. This spot, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Crooked Creek flows through this area, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail.
This lake is so wonderful.
 
   The Mammoth Rock Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in the vicinity of Lake Crowley. Camping is available at Aspen Park Group Campground; if you're here, you could also have a look at lovely Hilton Creek Lakes. So many fun things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Do stop at Long Valley Dam since you're here at Lake Crowley, and after a long day outdoors Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
This lake is
 
               one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Lake Crowley with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Lake Crowley tend to be in the 20's. Around Lake Crowley you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is June.
This site rocks, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do next to Lake Crowley. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Mammoth Mountain; spots like Little Round Valley are nice to go to.

Great place to visit! A must see for all families and tourists! The awe and marvel at the beauty of the lake is indescribable! My family had an awsome experience and Joey, Anisa, and Diana ( my children) all would love to go back!  Bear Twin Lakes is not a place to miss! Just watch out for the occasional black bear!...

The only way to drop a kayak in Kings river is a very long drive (maybe 4-5 hours) to the west side or the range, or lugging it through the wilderness (over the spine). I think I would have to give a gold medal to anyone who would lug a kayak from Big Trees to Kings river. Just a heads-up....
