During the months of summer at Lake Combie highs are typically in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Combie dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great globe it would be. And if that's not enough there's loads more       exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Perkins Spring, and Wooley Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Bear River is a magnificent whitewater spot next to Lake Combie; La Mar Flat is right here at Lake Combie. Looking for something next to Lake Combie?                  Lake of the Pines is nearby, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - North Fork. Not far from Lake Combie you get some nice water scenery at Van Giesen Dam, and since you're here you can play some golf at Darkhorse Golf Club. There's so much to do here at Lake Combie that you need to camp here for a while, Gold Rush Ranch is a brilliant place for that, and there are plenty of folks from Sacramento—Arden-Arcade—Roseville here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Combie has to offer, you can camp at Ponderosa Rv Resort, and Quality Inn Auburn is a great place to get some rest. Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do next to Lake Combie. Nearby lakes? Sure, Halsey Forebay is near Lake Combie; close by you discover the South Yuba Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. Lake Combie sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful.
