Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go home again. A journey to El Dorado Beach close to Lake Christopher is always a great idea, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Heavenly if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. East Peak Lake is a great lake in the neighborhood of Lake Christopher, and golf can be played at Edgewood Tahoe       Golf Course. Skiing at Sierra at Tahoe is one of those things you just have to do, and after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge South Lake Tahoe is a perfect site to spend a night or two. You'll meet a lot of folks from Gardnerville Ranchos here; there are other spots here than Lake Christopher, for example Sawmill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Timber Cove Lodge is a magnificent choice, and you can stay the night at                  Campground By The Lake. That right there is lots of cool things already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Christopher has to offer, you can camp at El Dorado County Campground, and Lake Christopher is right by the Hawley Grade Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Lake Christopher. Get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater of Carson River - East Fork. This place, Lake Christopher, it absolutely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Going for a hike along the Burnside Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you want to hit the beach, Pope Beach is close by. The warmest time of the year at Lake Christopher comes with high temperatures in the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Lake Christopher dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Hiking along the Charity Valley Trail is magnificent fun; if you're here, you could go to Cold Creek.
