This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Emerald Iguana Inn is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and Lake Casitas Recreation Area is a perfect campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. On a beautiful day you can check out Oil Piers Beach in the vicinity of Lake Casitas, and you can stay the night at Ventura Beach RV Resort. Lake Casitas is in close proximity to Fresno Canyon which is absolutely       worth checking out, and hiking along the Cozy Dell Trail is nice fun. So many amusing things in the Santa Ynez Mountains, just astonishing. Oakridge Inn is a splendid site to get some rest. Lake Casitas is one of the lakes here in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Time spent at Rincon Beach in close proximity to Lake Casitas is always good, and if you're visiting from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura,                  you won't be the only one. During the warm months highs here at Lake Casitas reach the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 60's, and overnight lows in the 40's for Lake Casitas. It's a fine idea to stop at Ayers Creek, it's in the vicinity of Lake Casitas, and at Casitas Dam close to Lake Casitas there are some interesting things to see.
