Joshua Tree National Park is a very great location to take a look at in the neighborhood of Lake Cahuilla, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Cahuilla; Cactus Spring Trail is a great local trail. A magnificent place in the neighborhood of Lake Cahuilla is Devil Canyon, and if you came to camp Indian wells RV Roundup is a good spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Club is a delightful way to kill some time, and Embassy Suites Hotel La Quinta, CA is a perfect spot to get some rest. Through the summer months at Lake Cahuilla temperatures are usually in the 100's, and through the night it
cools down to the 70's. During the winter highs are in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Lake Cahuilla temperatures sink to the 40's.

 | 19 miles away (...) the winter and summer temps a little wrong. Spring and Fall are the best time to camp, with warm daytime temps in the 80-90 range and cooler nights, around 60-70. Summer can be hot, daytime temps 100+ in July and August, nights are warm 75-85. Winter is relatively cold, but in 14 years here, there's only been one freeze that damaged plants at all, although we get a couple nights in the low 30s. Clear winter nights are relatively cold, 38-45, cloudy nights are 45-55. Daytime highs in the winter sometimes barely reach 65-70, but it's a dry cold, and feels like 40 would anywhere else.... |
