    Why not stop by Lake Britton if you're passing through these parts. Do go to Pit Number Three Dam since you're here at Lake Britton; why not camp at Rim Campground if you're here at Lake Britton. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Northshore Campground is a magnificent place to camp, and going for a hike on the Rough and Ready Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail in the neighborhood  
   of Lake Britton called the Pacific Crest Trail - section 17.
The high level of precipitation makes Lake Britton a reasonably wet spot; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is mostly the driest month. This place, Lake Britton, it completely has so much outdoors fun stuff. While you're here at Lake Britton, you could also check out pretty Owl Lake, and some of the water nearby flows, like Burney Creek. Coyote Flat Reservoir is a nearby lake
 
               that you could pop by, and nearby you stumble on the Coal Mine Trail which is a great hiking trail.
Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Here at Lake Britton you can make out Burney Spring Mountain, and a trip to Lake Britton wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Burney Falls. The warmest time of the year at Lake Britton comes with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Britton. Lake Britton is located in the Southern Cascade Range.
So many exciting things to do here in the Southern Cascade Range, too tremendous to be true. Lassen Volcanic National Park is a magnificent spot in the vicinity of Lake Britton, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Pit River.
