Lake Britton is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Lake Britton. Don't leave Lake Britton without first paying a visit to Burney Falls, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Britton; Pacific Crest Trail - section 17 is a great local trail. That right there is heaps of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. Why not

| | take a refreshing hike along the Coal Mine Trail, and Rim Campground is a fine campground nearby. The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful.
Lake Britton sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month is July. camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at Pit Number Three Dam since you're here, and let's not forget Burney Creek which is a stream that you may run into while you're here.
Lake Britton is right by the Rough
and Ready Trail; a delightful sight of beautiful Burney Spring Mountain is available. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Britton. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Highs during the wintertime
are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Britton dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Southern Cascade Range. Looking for a great spree? Lassen Volcanic National Park is reasonably near Lake Britton.
