During the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lake Angela plunge into the 20's. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express TRUCKEE is a good site to spend a night or two, and the skiing at Donner Ski Ranch is good. This lake is so wonderful. Azalea Lake is a nearby lake that you       could stop by, and great hiking is available along the Warren Lake Trail. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay The Inn at Truckee is a pleasant choice, and don’t forget to stop by Billy Mack Flat since you're here at Lake Angela. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on                  Fordyce Creek, and for you golfers we recommend close by Tahoe Donner Golf Course.
