    A visit to Laguna Lake is always a good idea. Laguna Lake is a wet location that gets much rainfall; January is the month that gets the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. If you need a location to stay Best Western Inn is a great choice, and there are other sites here than Laguna Lake, for example Arroyo Sausal Reservoir. Summer at Laguna Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. Daytime highs  
   throughout the wintertime are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Laguna Lake are in the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Muir Woods National Monument is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Mark West Creek for all you adrenaline people, and there are brilliant places to explore along the Old Pine Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Petaluma; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not go to Soulajule Reservoir.
 
               Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. While you're here at Laguna Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Santa Rosa-Petaluma, and at Laguna Lake you can spot Antonio Mountain. Laguna Lake is located in the Coast Ranges. And if that's not sufficient there's loads more exciting stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. K O A Kampgrounds is a brilliant campground nearby, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Meadow Trail.
If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. Laguna Lake is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, San Francisco North/Petaluma KOA is a splendid site to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Jepson Trail is always a fine adventure.

I was just diagnosed with Lyme Disease from a hike around Phoenix Lake.  It happened February 8, 2009.  It's a beautiful hike but just take precautions!...Yeah... my buddy got lyme disease here when we were kids. Too many ticks everywhere....Phoenix lake is a great place to visit if you're in the area. It's beautiful. Very secluded....Any lyme disease ever reported from the ticks at phoenix lake?...
