If you like lakes and you're in this part of California you can check out Lagoon Pond. Lagoon Pond ordinarily gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Coast Ranges. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Hope Creek Trail, and there's a wonderful forest called Trees of Mystery. This lake is so wonderful.
