Many people like to go to Lagoon Lake. Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest, and glide down the rapids of American River - South Fork in a kayak. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return back home again. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lagoon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hell Hole-In Campground; Lagoon Lake is right by the McKinstry Trail. This lake is one of the great

| | places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Hit the slopes at Alpine Meadows nearby. That right there is loads of amusing things already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Squaw Valley, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Steamboat Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Trail is glorious fun. Buck Meadow is a fine spot, and paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun. Lagoon Lake is a wet spot that gets a lot of rain; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month
with the least amount of precipitation. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Lagoon Lake rocks! There's so much to do here at Lagoon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hell Hole Campground is a glorious place
for that, and if you need a spot to stay Squaw Valley Lodge is a magnificent choice. Throughout the warm months highs here at Lagoon Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the duration of the
wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's with temperatures at Lagoon Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Big Rock Spring is a wonderful spot to stop by while you're at Lagoon Lake, and unsurprisingly Cottonwood Creek flows through this area.
