This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. And that's not all the things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada. The Balls casts its shadow over Lady Lake, and after a long day outdoors Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Clouds Rest Trail. There's so much to do here at Lady Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper
| | | |
| | Chiquito Campground is a good place for that. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. Shirley Creek flows through this area; hiking along the Half Dome Trail is glorious fun. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Lady Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lady Lake has to offer, you can camp at Bowler Group Campground, and The Ahwahnee | |

is a fine location to get some rest. Take a hike on the Mono Meadow Trail, and a journey to Yosemite National Park is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. At Lady Lake you can see Balls; lakes are such serene places, why not
stop at Burro Lake. High temperatures at Lady Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's while the cold winter
nights at Lady Lake are in the 20's. An average amount of rain falls at Lady Lake; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. So much enjoyable stuff in the
Central Sierra Nevada, just unbelievable. Merced River - South Fork has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by; there are other sites here than Lady Lake, for example Madera Lakes.
