Kuna Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly January, that's the one that snows the most, and June is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. At Kuna Lake you can see Mammoth Peak; camping at Kuna Lake is great fun, Tioga Campground is a great local campground. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the John Muir Trail - section 1, and if you're       here, you could also have a look at wonderful Bingaman Lake. Having a brilliant time at Kuna Lake is painless. June Mountain is a magnificent local ski area, and Kuna Lake is right by the Gaylor Lakes Trail. And if that's not enough there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. If you need a location to stay Yosemite Gateway Motel is a good choice, and get dripping wet paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. Kuna Lake                  is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. At Kuna Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Kuna Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Heidelberg Inn, and Junction Campground is a brilliant campground here. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada.
