Krum Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Coyote Bluff is near Krum Reservoir, and a round of golf at nearby San Juan Hills Country Club is a great way to kill some time. It's a perfect idea to stop by Horno Creek, it's in close proximity to Krum Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Dana Point Inn-By-The-Sea is a great spot to spend a night or two. Not much rainfall falls here at Krum Reservoir; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of
the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Do take a look at McCracken Reservoir close to Krum Reservoir, it's a charming lake, and a great spot to camp here at Krum Reservoir is San Clemente State Beach. Why not take a refreshing
hike along the San Juan Trail, and time spent at Poche Beach is always good.
High temperatures at Krum Reservoir during the summertime months are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Krum Reservoir.
