It is very dry here at Krum Reservoir usually; most of the rain falls during January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. And that's not all you can do here at Krum Reservoir. A lake nearby is Reed Reservoir, and Deep Canyon is a nice place to spend some time. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at San Clemente City Beach; golf can be played at San Juan Hills Country Club. This       lake is so wonderful. Poche Beach is next to Krum Reservoir if you're in a beach type of mood, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Palisades Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Near Krum Reservoir you hit upon the Morrow Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and camping is available at Caspers Wilderness Park. During your journey to Krum Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana for                  sure, and Best Western Dana Point Inn-By-The-Sea is a fine place to get some rest. Going for a hike on the San Juan Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and camping at San Clemente State Beach is always a tremendous experience. No need to travel far to have a look at exciting stuff like Coyote Bluff; some of the water nearby flows, like Horno Creek. During the days of summer at Krum Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 60's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Krum Reservoir. If you need a site to stay Best Western Capistrano Inn is a good choice, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Clark Trail.
