A wonderful lake like Little Egg Lake next to Kramer Reservoir is a splendid location to explore, and camping is available at Lassen Pines RV Resort. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Southern Cascade Range. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pit River; a splendid spot to camp here at Kramer Reservoir is Lava Campground. At Kramer Reservoir you don’t see       much precipitation; most of the snow falls through December, and July on the other hand is the driest. If time allows, Lava Beds National Monument is a national park worth checking out, and Lost Reservoir is a great lake nearby. Through the warm days of summer here at Kramer Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Kramer                  Reservoir dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
