    Kirman Lake is a lake worth visiting. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. Through the months of summer at Kirman Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows at Kirman Lake all through the winter usually descend into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Places like Pickel Meadow are pleasant to pop by; a wonderful close  
   by hotel is Ruby Inn.
That right there is a heap of cool things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Some of the water nearby flows, like Poore Creek, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend West Walker River. Have a great hiking adventure along the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, and you can stay the night at Sonora Bridge Campground. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the
 
               cool stuff at Kirman Lake. While you're here at Kirman Lake you can take a hike along the Corral Valley Trail. There's so much to do here at Kirman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Leavitt Meadows Campground is a brilliant place for that.
You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. You could also check out Junction Reservoir if you're here at Kirman Lake; it's nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, West Walker River offers some splendid whitewater. If you need a location to stay Best Western Topaz Lake Inn is a perfect choice, and going for a hike along the Lost Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful.
At Kirman Lake you don’t see much rainfall; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is July.
