Kirman Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Have a great hiking adventure along the Early Emigrant and Indian Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on West Walker River. This lake is so wonderful. Poore Creek flows through this neighborhood, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Tule Lake is just a very short distance away. Pickel Meadow while you're here at Kirman Lake; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Gardnerville is a nice spot to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a great time. If the weather is great here
at Kirman Lake, you can go for a hike along the Corral Valley Trail, naturally you could also stop at Poore Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. Kirman Lake is pretty waterless mostly; the month with most of the rain is January,
and the driest month is July. Going for a hike along the Lost Canyon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. There's so much to do here at Kirman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sonora Bridge Campground is a splendid spot for that.
