    The beauty of Kinney Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. Kinney Reservoir gets a good deal of water; through the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling close to Kinney Reservoir is Carson River - East Fork, and if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Gardnerville is a good choice. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Northern  
   Sierra Nevada has to offer. Don't leave Kinney Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Burnside Lake Trail, and while you're here, you could explore Eagle Creek.
Kinney Reservoir in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Bloomfield Campground while you're here at Kinney Reservoir, and there are great locations to explore along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. What a spot this is for
 
               outdoors people. The skiing at Bear Valley is delightful, and the top of Ebbetts Peak is easily seen from Kinney Reservoir.
Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra Nevada is excellent! Do have a look at Asa Lake close to Kinney Reservoir, it's a stunning lake, and great hiking is available along the Charity Valley Trail. Kinney Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Highland Lakes Campground is a good site to camp, and everybody close by loves skiing at Kirkwood.
A brilliant place like Bloomfield Meadow here at Kinney Reservoir is too good to miss, and a gorgeous lake like Lower Kinney Lake is a great spot to take a look at. At Kinney Reservoir throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Kinney Reservoir. Since you're here at Kinney Reservoir why not visit Ebbetts Pass, and a splendid nearby hotel is Best Western Topaz Lake Inn.
