     California has many beautiful lakes and Kinney Reservoir is one of them. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Kinney Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bloomfield Campground is a great local campground, and if you get bored of Kinney Reservoir you could also pop by close by Dorothy Lake. Kinney Reservoir generally gets a good deal of rain; through January this area sees the most snow while July is generally the driest month. If you're  
   here at Kinney Reservoir, you could visit Eagle Creek; Sherrold Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you need a place to stay Super 8 Gardnerville is a tremendous choice, and Kinney Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Ebbetts Pass which is without doubt worth taking a look at. That right there is a heap of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the
 
               Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. A splendid place to camp here at Kinney Reservoir is Highland Lakes Campground, and here at Kinney Reservoir you can catch a sight of Ebbetts Peak. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Kinney Reservoir you can take a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and Bloomfield Meadow is a magnificent place to check out.
This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Bear Valley and strap some skis to your feet; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Burnside Lake Trail. A nice nearby hotel is Best Western Topaz Lake Inn, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Carson River - East Fork. Man, is there plenty of cool stuff to do right next door to Kinney Reservoir.
At Kinney Reservoir during the summer highs are in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Kinney Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. Kinney Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The snow is glorious at Kirkwood, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Charity Valley Trail.
