    Kingsley Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. During the months of summer highs here at Kingsley Lake get into the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Kingsley Lake. Stay the night at Little Doe Campground, and don't miss out on a spree to Whiskeytown National Recreation Area since you're here. Get dripping wet  
   paddling on Black Butte River, and Minnie Lake is a glorious lake nearby.
Kingsley Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Beegum Creek, and the Soldier Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is one of the great places here in the Klamath Mountains.

               havin' a glorious time here at Kingsley Lake. On a lovely day you get a vista of Hammerhorn Mountain from Kingsley Lake, and lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Elk Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Klamath Mountains. Near Kingsley Lake you find Hopkins Hollow which is a tremendous spot to check out, and there's nice hiking along the French Trail.
But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Klamath Mountains. Kingsley Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Hammerhorn Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Ides Cove National Recreation Trail.
