So many cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just tremendous. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Soda Springs, and you acquire a pleasant vista of Devils Peak from here. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and dry warm beds await you at Plumpjack Squaw Valley Inn. The Long Valley Trail       offers hiking at its best; whitewater paddling is great on Yuba River - South Fork. So much amusing stuff to do at Kidd Lake, so little time. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kidd Lake; Lola Montez Trail is a nice local trail; you'll stumble on a stunning lake called Long Lake. High temperatures at Kidd Lake through the months of summer are in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's,                  and during the dark hours in the winter at Kidd Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. The high level of rain makes Kidd Lake a pretty wet location; all through January this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Heath Falls Overlook Trail. There's so much to do here at Kidd Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Springs Campground is a tremendous place for that. Kidd Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Boreal; if you came to camp Van Norden Campground is a magnificent site to do that. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
