Kidd Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Kidd Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. The high level of rain makes Kidd Lake a pretty wet location; during the month of January you get the most rain around here; July is the month with the least moisture. You're perhaps into lakes, Long Lake is one of those nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Cold Springs Campground is a great place to camp.

Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca; going for a hike along the Lola Montez Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you come at the right time of year, Yuba River - South Fork offers some perfect whitewater, and on a glorious day you
can take a hike along the Heath Falls Overlook Trail. Through the summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Kidd Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter
nights come with lows in the 20's to Kidd Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. This is a pleasant vicinity for people who like lakes. Lower Lola Montez Lake is a lake close by, and if the weather is magnificent, you can go for a hike
along the Long Valley Trail. These mountains rock, just check out all the fun stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Van Norden Campground is a good local campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Fordyce Creek.
