Kibbie Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hetch Hetchy Backpackers Campground is a tremendous local campground, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Cherry Creek - West Fork. Through the long summer days highs here at Kibbie Lake reach the 60's. Once the sun is down it descends

| | down to the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Kibbie Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. It's always wonderful to visit Sachse Spring, and at Kibbie Lake you always meet someone from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge.

Central Sierra Nevada. On a good day at Kibbie Lake you can take a hike along the Pilot Ridge Trail; a great site for whitewater paddling is Stanislaus River - Middle Fork.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here
at Kibbie Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cherry Valley Campground is a nice place for that; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Dodge Ridge if you're here. This lake is located in the wonderful Central
Sierra Nevada. A good deal of precipitation falls at Kibbie Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and July on the other hand is the driest.
