It's always fun to stop by Kern Lake. Going for a hike on the Hockett Meadows Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and if you came to camp Willow Meadows Campground is a great place to do that. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Kern River, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a tremendous choice. Through the summertime at Kern Lake highs are ordinarily in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs
are in the 50's; night lows through the winter for Kern Lake tend to be in the 30's.
Kern Lake is one of the lakes here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. There's whitewater on Kern River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and possibly
you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Little Kern Lake is just a very short distance away. Man, is there loads of entertaining things to do near Kern Lake. A short tour to Soda Spring is always worthwhile; some of the water nearby
