In California there are many beautiful lakes, Kern Lake is one of them. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is nice on Kern River; you can stay the night at Willow Meadows Campground. A visit to Soda Spring will fill your soul with great feelings, and some of the water close by flows, like BIg Kern Lake Creek.

of Kern Lake, and not far from Kern Lake you'll come across Little Kern Lake which is a lovely lake. There's good hiking along the Sawtooth Pass Trail; the view of charming Tower Rock is pleasant.

summer days at Kern Lake highs are usually in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; night lows through the winter for Kern Lake tend to be
