Kent Lake gets a good deal of water; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be. Why not camp at Lower Campground while you're here at Kent Lake, and Palomarin Beach is a pretty beach to check | |

Camping Trips
 | 16 miles away I have had the displeasure of staying at a campsite called Coloma Resort on the South Fork of the American River. If you're not a church group or over 65 this place is not for you. We were harassed by the management constantly and were told to go to bed at 10:00pm on a Saturday night. Nothing in their rules said laughing and the Beatles were not allowed. This is the type of place that will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money. The campsite was extremely crowded even the 3rd week of August. My advice is to go else where, anywhere else but here!... |
